Tired

Lost my HK trip because couldn’t get the visa in time, basically because I am a procrastinator and I waited till the last moment to apply and miracle did not happen.
So early in the morning Gordo went there alone. since he was so clumsy and made much noise I couldn’t remain asleep. Got up, made a cuppa coffee, read a Chinese story and a chapter of Monica and Cebolinha cartoon, then, fell asleep again till 10:30.
Then decided to to go to Haiyin, partly because I needed to bring the missing wire of the camera which we just sold the day before to the guy so he could give me another 100(he promised), partly because I still had some unfinished biz in the fabric market.
The guy checked the wires and said it was not original. I saw the “Made in China”tag and did not argue. Gordo did not tell me that the wires did not come with the camera. He offered 20. If it were not imported, the value goes down dramatically. No point keeping the wires while the camera is sold. So I took the 20. (I saw it coming. Z guy never gonna pay me 100 for just the wires!)
Then I took my dress to the stitcher. I want to have the dress and the lining attached. She refused to do what she called”clean-up”jobs. Plus she said that I sew in the wrong order and she had to unpick my line. She reluctantly asked for 60 for the job and I said:”what?60?”
Result is– no deal.
I am so pissed. How come now its still seller’s market?! Last time I took my 1st dress to another stitcher, and she looked at me and did not even stop her work and said,”No i don’t do that.”
“Why?”
“To much work. Complicated.”
She was not even interested to see how much she was gonna get from that.
After that I bought 2 zippers and some different tones of green fabric. Figured since I had the whole day’s time I could take a bus instead of a taxi. Then I waited and waited, and the bloody bus never came. Many buses passed by and the one that I wanted, never showed up. To the point I had to check the station board if i was waiting at the wrong place.
Finally I gave up. –Can’t say I didn’t try.
Hailed a taxi nearby. Ended up going thru the agony of waiting for a bus and paying for a taxi.
Took the Clifford bus and came home. Mary is staying here for the night. She is crazy about stitching AC covers, chairs covers, table cloth for her new apt.
Just tired.
