Saturday I went to Mira’s place for lunch. Her mom was cooking the meal. It was lots of food. Besides, there was wine during the meal, and peaches and tea after the meal. When I was about to leave Mira’s Mom packed a bag of more food for me to take home. That was some hospitability!
Day is short, especially when I had it planned quite extensively +overslept. So I cancelled the trip to fabric market. Had an appointment with Kevin the hair stylist. I’m pretty lazy and I normally just go easy, but once in a year I would get so fed up with my hair I wanna change it somehow. It’s like a cycle.
Talked to Kevin(He is a busy man, love his new hairstyle btw.) and as I was not in it for a whole new look we reached the agreement not to do anything at the bottom. My hair is basically very soft and thin and fragile and lack of volumne, so we did a root perm at the top to give it a loose look.
Spent 3 hours in the salon flipping through about 8 HK magazines and amazed by how “gossipy” the reporters of an entertainment magazine can be. They go to such extremes that it amused me so much…
When I got home gordo said:”Don’t tell me you spent so much and came back looking the same.”
“It was half the budget, and it does not look the same!”
“It does.”
“No, u don’t know s**t.”
We watched “the fast food nation” in the evening. Good one.It’s the kind of movie that leaves you speechless.
And, Sunday is the day I got to have to come out with 10 designs for next week. Geez.
Thinking I have to look through costume history again, might give some “depth” to the designs. Just thinking out of thin air is starting to bore me.
