A better view of the new wallpaper.
Randomly taken by Mira today.
It’s orderly messy.

Went to see Carrie and her 1 month old baby boy in the afternoon.
Carrie is also my college roomate+classmate. She’s funny in another way. She has her whole life planned ahead all the time and you’d be amazed how things work out just accordingly!
I’ll post a baby pic soon.

Went out a LOT after last entry when I complained about being too indoorsy.
Met Annie, college classmate and roomate on Friday night.
Annie is working and living in London now. Last time I saw her was 5 years ago.
Also dinner together with Mira and Jessica.
Pleasant night.
Annie is very “brit” now, but what didn’t change– a very fun person to talk to!

Bored.
didn’t get out of the house for 4 days. Walking the dog does not count.
Talking about it, Xiao Tan jumped into a pool yesterday. I guess the water was too clear and she thought it was not water.
Anyway she was wet from ear to toe. What a moscona.
Not much to do, have been watching Seinfeld again and still find it funny. It’s full of stupid ideas but somehow I think it’s so cleverly written.
Very uninspired lately. Could it be because of lack of regular melamine dose…
Tomorrow definitely have to go out.

Day1–Got up late. The morning was gone. Thinking to go dancing in the afternoon but when I got there, teacher was in court. So I went to see Mary and she fixed me lunch. Around 4 o’clock in the afternoon I left to pick up ZY. We went to supermarket and had Sichuanese take-out for dinner.
We tried to watch the very first season of sex&z city, but there wasn’t any Chinese subtitle with the originals. Apart from the very beginning lines that ZY said she had learnt and memorized from her English course in HK, she found it stressy to follow. So we watched some news together, talked and followed the story on TV about an 87 yo man trying to divorce his 53 yo wife. Went to bed around midnight.
Day2–Got up around 8:30, showered. ZY didn’t wake up until 11:40. Me and Xiao Tan went checking on her a few times separately, but apparently she was having some really nice sleep. I brewed coffee and we had breakfast in home.
Rested (from what?…) until 2:30 and we went out to catch lunch, after which we left for the city together.
5:00 had a drink in 6th AVENUE with a friend and 6:30 pm had dinner with more friends.
Left at 8:30 pm and anxiously rushing home because I knew the black doggie was waiting for me.
Spent a little time on the computer and watched the Seinfeld re-runs. We watched and watched and I suddenly had insomnia. I shifted from sofa to the bedroom, back to living room a few times, by the time I went to bed, was 4:30am.
Day3–Got up a bit before 10am. Black dog completely passed out. The whole morning she was belly up sleeping.
At 2pm I went out for lunch, then took a quick run to Clifford hospital, came home and waited impatiently for Gordo to come back.
Black doggie makes all the difference–if it hadn’t been for her, I think all my activities would not have been home-based. -______-
Gordo was in HK jewelry show. I trusted that he has a sane mind not to bring home anything, but the power of glamor got the better of him and he came home with “a little gift for ya”. What a nice surprise!!!– The best piece of jewelry I have in my life so far.
Consider my 5th anniversary gift done. ^^
Apart from that, Gordo was also a “mule” for baby milk powder for Linda. Did a bit of H&M shopping for me.
Nice…

Year after year we commit the same mistake of going to the lantern fair in the neighborhood on Mid-autumn night. We always ended up saying to each other:”remind me not to come next year.”
It’s just a show of LOTS of people sweating HEAVILY in front of booths that sell OVERPRICED cheap(in quality) items.
This market, can even kill the passion of the most ultimate shop-aholic.
We had a 20 minutes hot walk with a black dog. I eventually bought some fishball, ate 4 of the 5, gave one to the dog, and she refused. beautiful! Then we went home.
Next day entertainment is the hospital. Doc examined the tooth and confirmed my theory and told me I have to extract the teeth on both sides. What a nice surprise… I really have to think about it…Now I am on antibiotics that makes me sick all day.
Then I went to Color Code to meet ZY in the afternoon. Her stylist was chit-chatting to me a bit and finally asked:”Do you live in Clifford?”
Me:”"Yea, how do U know?”
….
It’s surprising to see sometimes how small it can be for a community who has a population of over 100,000…
The other day while talking to ZY at the metro station, this guy came up to us and asked if we speak English. He proceeded to ask for direction, then for some reason started suggesting me not to eat 1. sugar. 2. oil. 3. chocolate.
Intersting….but definitely weird…

When I started to have this toothache Gordo suggested me to go to hospital immediately, and here is my answer:”No way, I never had dental problem.”
After 2 days I thought I might have to go, but still wishing the pain would just vanish one beautiful morning when I wake up.
After another 2 days I started taking it seriously.
I could have gone in the morning, but funny enough, the pain seemed to have alleviated a great deal and I thought, okie.
Around lunch time it came back to bother me.Then I called hospital, only to find out the earliest appointment is on Monday. Oh Man~~
I’m pretty sure the doc will just suggest me to rip this new tooth out, (and I won’t), but my past experience is that my problem normally gets solved by just showing up at the doctor’s. With or without the help of medicine. Creepy but true.
Today Mary said:”You know if your wisdom tooth gets to grow out, that means ur not smart any more.”
really…
So Mary visited me in the afternoon. Xiao Tan barked at her for a good 20 minutes. Gordo baked a cake and I made tea. In the evening we went to the city and had dinner together.
I had 11 barbecued oysters all by myself.

Tonight the news shows a video footage that was shot in Australia of a man bashing over a Kangaroo. He was kicking and punching the poor animal like some kind of hero in a martial film, or like a Tae-kun-dou practiser over a sandbag. His friends were laughing as he was beating the roo, and in the last punch the roo was knocked unconscious and fell down on the ground.
What kind of a heartless fucker would do that?! It’s beyond sick.
I hope the animal protection organization catches him soon.
A man like this should be pinned down on a chair and has his balls kicked repeatedly, preferably by a huge Kangaroo.

it’s been 4 days. I believe it’s the wisdom tooth that is growing.
I try NOT to go visit Clifford hospital too often…I don’t want to be there on a monthly basis like my period.
The doc I saw in the traditional medicine Dep. is not THAT great. He thinks I should not have pimples anymore after 3 visits, but guess what, the other day when I went have coffee with Mary, that was her first greetings:”your face is horrible.”
But guess i’ll HAVE to go to the dentist’s if it continues like this tomorrow.
