My mom stayed with us for a week. We had lots of activities together, among which, was pierce her ears and get her a pair of ear-rings.
She left yesterday morning and today she complained to me on MSN:”They haven’t noticed the change yet!!!”
“So much for the respect!”
Mom dyed her hair, did facials and made some shopping during this trip. She was very happy when my brother told her she looked younger.
I should learn after mom. I am so lazy….

I am sooooooooooooooo tired today…
Lots of physical movement…
pics I took of little demonio tonight:
Looked around the whole place and didn’t see her…
Finally, I opened the guest room door and realized I forgot the A.C. on and there she was….

If there were a moment she is not gluing to either of us, something is wrong, very wrong…
One of the scenes she made:

Comes to the time of the year when the air’s crispy, the sun’s warm, the breeze’s a bit cool and the sky’s blue.
Only a few days of a year–to the point Saturday afternoon Mira sent me a message:– Look at the sky–It’s beautiful.
Yes, moment like this is rare, and we need to share it.
Sunday afternoon after dance I met up with Mira. We have chocolate mousse and puff and tea together.
We were just hanging out. Nothing specific to do, but at the end of the day I found myself carrying 2 pants, 1 light jacket and 2 pairs of earring home.
Wonder how long this nice weather will last…It makes me feel so good, so good…

Simon Cowell is speaking out for the first time about why he split with girlfriend of six years, Terri Seymour.
“She wants a different path in life, and I totally respect her for it,” Cowell tells Fox News. “We will be the best of mates, but I think in relationships, you have to be totally honest. I have always been and I know Terri knows that.
“I find women confusing, really,” Cowell went on. “When you hook up and date, you’re both honest about what you want. I have never ever said that I want children or marriage. I know some people find it hard to fathom, but it’s me, it’s who I am.”
He denies rumors that another woman was involved.
“There is no one new in my life. I can honestly say some of my best friends are girls, but we’re not dating, and that is that,” he says. “Forget any lurid tabloid headlines. Myself and Terri will remain firm friends. We’re grown ups.”
Cowell says he is still in love … with his job.
“Bottom line is I am married to my job,” says the American Idol judge. “When people moan about being a celebrity, I think ‘Oh please, sort yourself out – it’s the greatest job in the world.’
“I wake up daily thanking my lucky stars, but to throw marriage into that mix is not right,” Cowell continues. “I have seen too many celebrity marriages that on paper make a great mix, fall apart through ego and just plain celebrity madness.”"
This is a man with no B.S.
I’m not sure if it is good or bad the fact that he is not for any woman to own.
Telling this piece over dinner to Gordo, and he quoted:”Women marry men wishing they can change them but they don’t. Men marry women hoping that they don’t change but they do.”
But I do agree, women eventually want a marriage and a family. Some take a long time to realize.
And women do not change men. Some take a long time+ painful experience to realize too.

Ever since I took this interest, I’ve never bought anything decent….until last Sunday, when I went out with Ping and LU.
Since I do not perform, I bought everything in the cheapest way. Not a set, only mix and match. I saw some really exquisite costumes that cost hundreds, but I am stingy…

what happened??….

Not much politically, as I don’t know much. Just his personal charm…

It’s been 5 exact years since the day we registered the marriage and each one got a little red book.
That was a beautiful day, weather-wise. One of those typical blue-sky days that you’ll only see in fall.
I remembered venting off by kicking a van when it passed by me too close, because I had just been driven nuts by all those papers that needed to be translated and notarized by certain appointed agencies!
If I remember right, we spent all of the past anniversaries having the idea of dinning out but ending up eating some simple home-cooked meal or take-out. This time there was no exception.
“A lot of people don’t go to 5 years.” I said.”This should be a big deal. We should be celebrating.”
But then, the idea of driving all the way to the city, eating a meal without much conversation while having to pay a big bill, eventually set me off.
Well the noodle was very good. Lot of peppers. And there was wine. and then…
The idea is to spend it together, i guess.

Saturday we had the new washing machine delivered in home. This one works so much better.
The old Simens tumble washing machine is one of the few pieces of “furniture” that was moved along with us from the old apartment in Nanhai. It is full of functions and “European” and all, but when it comes to work, it’s just not doing a good job!
I sold it together with the drying machine whose rubber belt was broken, for rmb40. When they lifted up the washing machine there was about 2 kilos of rusted iron that came out from the base.
The new shelf which was custom-made solely for Fengshui purpose was also brought in, but it belongs to nowhere and blends in with nothing. It is such a miserable eyesore and I don;t know for how long I can put up with it.
Sunday is a work-out day for me. Danced until 3 pm and went off to Shuiyin Rd with the girls. Bought a pair of dancing shoes, a stereotype black long dress (for belly dancing) and a new waistband. My old one is losing coins and rusty and faded.
Then I came home very tired.
