Lunch at Mira’s
Although very close friends,I go to Mira’s place probably only once a year, depending when her parents come to town. (We just live too far apart.)
Whenever they come, Mira would invite me to a real Hakanese meal at home.
They got home-made wine, home-raised chicken and home-grown veges. I’ve gained back 2 kilos since CNY but couldn’t resist this lunch.
When I left, the hospitable parents insisted that I take 2 chicken legs and some dry pork, which I gladly did.
With the gifts Mira brought for me from her Boracay trip, it became a heavy bag.
She got me a bottle of red wine,necklace&bracelet made out of shelf from the beach, a small jewelry box, and a cute pack of “Philip Morris”. I asked her to keep her sarong because it is her favorite color–purple.
(I am a week late and its driving me nuts. The pimples pop all over my face.Mira’s home brewed wine is suppose to help and I drank all that was offered to me.)
I will put small earrings in it.
All that is loose and beyond fix.
