Girls’ Night Out

Posted in Main Page at 3:44 pm by Tammy

Saturday evening I had a hotpot dinner with Mary and Xi in the same restaurant in Tianhe.
Walked part of the dinner off on the way to the metro. Mary managed to make a big shopping just between the restaurant and the metro station.By the time she paid her bill and we were about to leave I found out that I’d got 12 missing calls from Mira. This mobile has a very low volume, especially my ring tone starts with “She was born like a beauty queen” –Chris Cornell version.
By the time I got there I was 45 minutes late. I couldn’t believe at almost 11pm the metro train was still so crowded. I’ve never being out like that in many years.
And not only the metro–the clubs were all full. Many people were waiting outside. It was lucky that a friend’s friend knows the boss and we got in immediately.
It was not a live band drink-n-talk type, it was a “lady gaga” type (“just dance”), but Mira still yelled a joke into me–
She looked around and said:”This is typical one-night-stand.”
what? Then soon I realized she was talking about no seats.
So 4 girls, a bottle of Johnny walker and we were out around 1:30, everyone complaining about being hearing impaired then.
Poor Connie had to get up early the next morning, and she disappeared before we woke up.
Mira and I woke up past 10 and went for a brunch in the condo. Then we went for her favorite past-time–massage.
She met Vienen’s daughter outside of a beauty saloon after that, and the mom was desperate for a Nanny. Therefore Mira played the nanny I guess for the rest of the day and I left from there.
That was a weekend a bit different. I normally stay in and watch movies.
