Jenny–:”Yesterday I bought myself a new dress for Mother’s Day!”
Me:–”What does Mother’s Day have to do with U?” ,considering she is single and without child.
Jenny–:”I am Happy’s mom…”

A male friend bought himself a watch for mothers day. His reasoning was “I have a mother, and she would be happy if I just show up to dinner on time.”

It is a combination of hiking, walking and drinking of large amounts of beer. Plenty of expats and locals to chat with. Last week we had about 45 people and did a nice trail through the park near Clifford.
50 yuen each for a day of exercise & fun. Can’t beat it. We meet every Saturday at the Mango bar (across from the Garden Hotel) at 13:30. We even have another Brazilian (female) for him to chat up if he is interested.
