One day trip in Qi Town,Shanxi

In Shanxi, noodle is the main day-to-day food. Rice is a less preferred option.
This is something made from buckwheat.
Lunch at 1+pm, because yesterday was a good day on lunar calendar and many “good”places in town were fully occupied for wedding banquets. It was also because departure was delayed an hour and I arrived late.

scene outside of factory
After lunch it snowed for 2 minutes–some teeny tiny snow.
The whole town looked pretty bleak, especially in winter.
This is the second time I was there. Good part of this place is all the genuine old houses and constructions, which makes one feel like traveling back in time.
The bad part–well…the “nada-ness” depresses me.
0 degree at lunch hour but it didn’t feel cold. Air was refreshing as there is less humidity in it.
Also because I wasn’t at all exposed to the outdoors: car–restaurant–car–factory–car–airport.
My equipments: pantyhose, pants, leg-warmers and padded boots, padded jacket over 3 layers of clothes+scarf+gloves.
It was a pretty efficient day for me. Staying over-night there would have been a horrible idea.
